Your Project Contract Comes First

Work we perform is governed by a written contract or proposal that you sign before work begins. That contract sets the scope, price, payment schedule, timeline, warranty and cancellation terms for your project. If anything in these terms conflicts with your signed contract, the contract controls.

Our Services

We provide custom metal railing fabrication and installation, gates, metal stairs, welding and repair, and related metalwork. We are based in Warwick, Rhode Island and serve residential and commercial customers in Rhode Island, and commercial customers in Massachusetts and Connecticut. We are licensed and insured.

Estimates

Estimates are free and based on the information available when we assess your project. Because site conditions, material availability and design changes can affect the work, an estimate is not a final price. The final scope and price are set in your written contract.

Information on This Website

Our guides and service pages — including information about building codes, ADA requirements, materials and maintenance — are general information to help you plan. They are not engineering, legal or code-compliance advice for a specific property. Codes are interpreted and enforced by your local building official, and requirements for your project depend on its details. We make every effort to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that it is complete or error-free.

Photos on the Site show examples of our work or illustrate a type of project. Your design, materials and finish will be set in your contract.

Third-Party Services

The estimate form on our contact page is provided by Housecall Pro, and the map by Google. Their services are governed by their own terms. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.

Designs and Site Content

Custom designs, drawings and specifications we create for your project are for that project only and may not be reused or shared for other work without our written consent, unless your contract says otherwise. The text, photos and graphics on this Site belong to Iron Penguin Builders and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its general information. Our responsibilities for work we perform are set out in your project contract.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, except where the law of the state where your project is located requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
